Why are all the internet programs close?
So my computer is a little old...but there is one really annoying thing it does. Lets say have have 2 internet programs running, and a pop up comes on. If I try to close the pop up, all the programs close That ALWAYS happens and I'm getting really ticked by it, can anyone tell me whats wrong or what I can get to stop it? So if I try to close a program, all the programs close. But Only with internet. PLEASE HELP ME

they always download in a text format, so they are completely useless. anything i can do about it??they are programs like floola or one that is supposed to download music to my phone. even picture emails do that sometimes too. free programs like that. but they download into text.

How do I uninstall internet programs?
So a while ago I downloaded something to my firefox that it recommended. At the time I thought it sounded like a good program if thats what you would call it and now its completely messing with my internet. It wont let me change my Home page to anything but Ask.com and it wont let me see pop ups, when I click on something it just comes up with a blank firefox page.

well internet explorer, mozilla, aim, and all those internet programs don't work sometimes when it says MY INTERNET IS CONNECTED EXCELLENT. oh btw i have wireless internet not stealing internet of course even when i repair it, everything is still the same, it can stay like this for 2 hours then start working again, i don't get it. my internet stops working randomly. but its not like on and off real fast. the modem is in my brothers room which is locked so i don't have access. but i found out that resetting the modem turning it off and on, then repairing the internet it starts working again. instead of doing that all the time, becuz most of the time i can't do that, what else can i do? what causes this problem?my internet is very fast btw. so it being slow is definately not the problem, internet explorer says its not able to connect anyways.soo for now my internet is working fine.i just want to prevent this from the future, but i don't think theres anything to do.
